BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Virginia Beach and has been surrounded by the military her whole life. Although she did not continue her journey into the military and the federal government, Laura knew her passion is helping people and art.
Laura followed her path in Culinary Arts and attended and graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, however, after hours in the classroom and kitchen, Laura knew her dream of Culinary Arts was merely a hobby she enjoyed. She knew she was destined for something else…
Laura’s journey to Scalp Micropigmentation started when she got her eyebrows microbladed by Emily Joy. After her eyebrow appointment, Laura was obsessed and expressed to Emily that she would love to be in this business of helping people and beauty. Emily introduced Laura to the work and need of Scalp Micropigmentation in the DMV area and from there it was a wrap!
Laura obtained her certificate and training for Permanent Cosmetic Tattoo from The Esthetic Institute in Virginia and she obtained her certificate and training from The Scalp Co Academy in Sacramento, CA under the Master SMP Artist, John Chandler. Laura is licensed in Virginia to practice Permanent Makeup and Scalp Micropigmentation. She is also CPR and First Aid certified.
